Ethereum MEV Activities Heat Up: Transaction Cost Pump, Profits Surge

Recently, the MEV( activities in the Ethereum ecosystem have significantly intensified, driving Gas prices to continue to rise. Data shows that since early May, the average daily Gas price for Ethereum has exceeded 100 Gwei for several consecutive days, reaching a high point in nearly a year. This month's average Gas price has risen by more than 40%, with a cumulative increase of nearly 500% for the year.

From the trader's perspective, the recent MEV profit levels have also significantly increased. In the past month, the total profit obtained through the three main MEV methods: arbitrage, sandwich trading, and liquidation reached around $13 million, with a cumulative transaction count of nearly 350,000. Among them, sandwich trading is currently the most prominent MEV profit method, accounting for over 76%. The highest daily MEV profit has once exceeded $1 million.
