Don't remind me again today

#加密货币市场动态 Recently, I’ve noticed a phenomenon: quite a few people are rushing into the market with just a few thousand USDT, filled with the “tenfold return in three months” get-rich-quick myth.

What’s the reality? Miracles aren’t lacking in the market, but they never belong to the impatient.

I’ve seen those who truly turned their fortunes around. They also started with only three to five thousand USDT, but their approach was completely different—not relying on a single lucky trade, but growing their account bit by bit, like raising fish, gradually building up enough size to withstand risk.

One example left a deep impression on me. At his lowest, this guy’s account was down to just 3,000 USDT, almost wiped out. But instead of smashing his phone and quitting, he started reviewing where he went wrong.

His first decision: quit the addiction to going all-in.

Leverage trading isn’t something you should jump into on every candlestick. He set a rule for himself—the time spent out of the market must be longer than holding a position. By resisting 80% of seemingly attractive opportunities and only seizing the 20% of signals he was truly confident in, his account slowly started to recover.

Pacing is also an art.

Drawing trendlines and looking at indicators are basic skills, but the key is to read the market’s rhythm. Don’t fantasize about catching a big bottom during low-volume sideways movement; in these phases, only try small positions and set tighter stop losses than usual. Wait until there’s a real breakout with volume and solid support before adding to your position and riding the whole wave.

There’s one more thing that’s easily overlooked: don’t jump around everywhere.

Today chasing DeFi trends, tomorrow jumping on AI narratives, the day after that eyeing Meme coins. With a small account, spreading yourself too thin is the biggest risk—you simply can’t keep up with every sector’s rhythm. He ended up focusing on just two or three coins he was familiar with, mastering their chart patterns, money flows, and community sentiment, which was far more effective than hopping all over the place.

The essence of turning around a small account isn’t about fighting desperately—it’s about surviving first.

As long as your account isn’t wiped out, there’s always another chance. The market cycles are longer than you think; you just need to wait for your moment, and then grab it hard.

A proven method plus steady execution is far more reliable than blindly messing around.

If you really want to turn things around, stop just dreaming. First, learn how to survive.

That's right, but most people simply can't hold on, and before they even get to their own segment of the market, they've already shot their bullets.

That really hits home. The people around me who entered the market with three to five thousand USDT have either been wiped out or left the space early. The fish farming analogy is spot on, much more clear-headed than those who dream of getting rich overnight. Sticking to a few coins and holding on is the way to go. Don’t follow the hype around DeFi, AI, or Meme coins, or you’ll end up with nothing.

Absolutely right. Most of my friends who lost everything were like this—they all dreamed of getting rich quick at first, and then lost it all in one all-in bet.

To be honest, the people around me who have made money all follow this trap; they just tough it out without any mystery.

You're absolutely right, but most people just won't listen. The dream of tenfold returns in three months is so tempting—who wants to hear about the slow and steady approach?

To put it bluntly, it's all about mindset. If you go all-in hoping to get rich overnight, sooner or later you'll have to give it all back. Seriously, I've seen too many of these dreamers—coming in with three to five thousand USDT expecting to 10x their money. How is that even possible? This guy's methodology is definitely solid. I've really experienced that being in cash is better than holding positions most of the time. The hardest part is resisting the urge—there are tempting opportunities every single day. With a small bankroll, greed is your biggest enemy. If you spread yourself too thin, you won't do anything well. It's better to focus on just a few coins and really master the rhythm before trying anything else. Only by surviving do you get more chances—this line really hits home.

You are absolutely right. I used to be the kind of fool who thought I could turn 3000U into ten times in three months. As a result, it dropped to zero in just two months. Now I realize that staying alive is the most important thing.

You’re absolutely right, but a lot of people just won’t listen. I used to go all-in like crazy too, but now I’ve changed my ways—honestly, staying alive is more important than anything else.

You're absolutely right, it's all about staying alive. A couple of years ago, I was also the type to go all in, and in the end, my account was hit down to two digits, which made me understand what pain really is. Now, on the contrary, I'm super stable, holding a small position and stubbornly sticking with a few coins, and I'm slowly recovering losses.
