Don't remind me again today

The sentencing drama of Terra founder Do Kwon is unfolding dramatically. His legal team has submitted a petition to a U.S. judge, hoping to reduce his sentence to 5 years. On the other hand, the South Korean prosecution has no intention of letting him off the hook—they are striving for a 40-year prison sentence in domestic cases.

The aftermath of the Luna crash is still being felt, and the name Do Kwon continues to resonate with countless investors. The vastly different sentencing expectations from the judicial systems in the US and South Korea for the same individual reflect the significant disparities in regulatory standards across countries. 5 years vs 40 years, this is not only a stark numerical difference but also a direct comparison of the severity with which two legal systems treat violations in the cryptocurrency industry.

What will the judge decide next? How will it end in South Korea? The accounts left by the Terra incident are far from settled.

5 years vs 40 years, this guy really has to rely on luck haha --- Do Kwon's move, the U.S. wants to let him go, South Korea wants to bury him, truly two different worlds --- Regarding Luna, how many people have lost everything? Now watching them blame each other is also satisfying --- The key issue remains — how severe should the penalties for crypto violations be? This case could rewrite industry standards --- Is South Korea serious about 40 years? I bet the U.S. will win in 5 years, but this guy probably won't sleep well --- Just want to know where he will end up serving time, this script is too twisted.

ngl the whole 5 years vs 40 years thing reeks of insufficient validation across jurisdictions... literally zero standardized audit framework for cross-border crypto enforcement, technically speaking this is a critical vulnerability threshold in global legal infrastructure

5 years vs 40 years, how many times of Arbitrage does it take to fill this gap... Do Kwon is really good at creating fluctuation ranges this time.

5 years or 40 years, this guy really has walked into some dog shit luck. Do Kwon has really bet big this time; if the U.S. only gives him 5 years, I’ll laugh to death. 40 years in Korea? That must be a lot of hatred, directly sentencing him to retirement. Those retail investors of Luna must feel so uncomfortable watching this drama. To be honest, the attitude of the U.S. and South Korea towards him is quite different, but who told him to crash everything? This guy is definitely praying for the U.S. judge to be a bit more "merciful." 40 years is definitely meant to put half of his life behind bars; South Korea is ruthless. 5 years or 40 years, anyway, Do Kwon’s life is completely over.

5 years vs 40 years, this guy is really playing a "multiple choice question". This guy really knows how to choose places, it takes 5 years in the US and 40 years in South Korea, no wonder he was running here and there before. The blood debt of Luna is endless, both sides want to pull him down.

5 years and 40 years, how did this guy become the Schrödinger's criminal? --- Do Kwon is really something, while the US is still bargaining, South Korea is ready to take him down. --- In the Luna incident, how many people got trapped? Now watching him get bombarded by the court is still satisfying. --- Judges from two countries are at odds, and stuck in between is his prison disaster... he really has a strong fate. --- To be honest, which one to choose, 5 years or 40 years? This is ridiculous. --- The debt from Terra hasn't been settled, Do Kwon went in first, and retail investors have nowhere to cry. --- The US judge wants to show mercy, but South Korea insists on taking him down, this political game looks very complicated.
