There's something brewing in the Solana ecosystem that's worth paying attention to. Humidifi is positioning itself as what they're calling DeFi 2.0 on Solana—essentially merging exchange functionality with market-making capabilities through JUP's DTF infrastructure.
The architecture is interesting: rather than operating as just another DEX, they're integrating the exchange layer with automated market-making mechanisms. Think of it as a hybrid model that could potentially address some of the liquidity fragmentation issues we've been seeing.
First major launch drops next week. Could be nothing, could be significant. Either way, the technical approach deserves a look if you're tracking Solana DeFi developments.

It's another call for DeFi 2.0... Can this JUP trap DTF infrastructure really solve liquidity fragmentation? Let's see the launch next week before discussing.

The combination of this DTF infrastructure from Humidifi is indeed something, but I'm a bit tired of hearing the DeFi 2.0 label... Let's talk about it after the launch next week.

DeFi 2.0 sounds impressive, but can this hybrid model truly solve the problem of Liquidity fragmentation? My quantitative model shows that similar architectures have only a 40% success rate in past market cycles, so we need to examine the cycle position again.

The dtf infrastructure sounds like it's just reheating leftovers... Another bail-in story for Solana's dex.

I looked at the Humidifi architecture, and DTF really has something... but it's again "DeFi 2.0", that term has been overused haha.
The issue of merging liquidity fragmentation seems to be a real problem, but it won't launch until next week, so we still have to wait and see the actual situation.

The DFT infrastructure of Jup integrates the trading layer and market making... Sounds good, but there are too many new projects on the SOL side, and only a few survive.

Solana is going to do something new again. Can such a mixed bag really be reliable?

The DTF infrastructure is quite interesting, but we're not going to follow the marketing hype of this "2.0".
