Kim Yong-bum previously served as the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance under the Moon Jae-in administration. Hashed CEO Simon Kim stated: "The Lee Jae-myung government adopts an open stance towards Crypto Assets and plans to promote stablecoins denominated in Korean won to prevent the outflow of national wealth." Simon Kim also mentioned that South Korean regulatory agencies are closely monitoring the United States' encryption policy and considering referencing its regulatory model.
