PLAY has recently announced an interesting plan. By 2026, they no longer intend to focus solely on mini-games, but aim to become a comprehensive interactive entertainment framework.

What exactly will they do? First, they plan to launch sub-games and short drama content to enrich the content ecosystem. Second, on a unified underlying architecture, they will accommodate different formats of creative works. This approach is quite clear — using the same technical foundation to support diverse content forms.

According to their pace, 2026 should be the breakout point. Whether they can truly achieve this goal will depend on product implementation and user feedback.

2026 is still a long way off. Let's wait until they stabilize what they have now before talking about it.

Wait until 2026? Can we trust this timeline? Anyway, I’m not really daring to get my hopes up.

Explosion in 2026? Let's focus on doing well with the current things first; the promises seem quite big.
