Airbus SE EADSY has clinched a landmark order from Spain’s Ministry of Defence to supply 100 military choppers, representing the country’s most ambitious rotorcraft modernization initiative. The procurement, coordinated through the Directorate General for Armament and Material (DGAM), spans four separate contracts deploying diverse aircraft models across Spain’s Army, Air and Space Force, and Navy.

Lockheed Martin Corp. LMT: Sikorsky, Lockheed’s rotorcraft division, supplies military and rotary-wing aircraft to all U.S. service branches and 40 allied nations. Notable platforms include the Armed BLACK HAWK, CH-53K heavy-lift variant, MH-60R SEAHAWK, S-97 RAIDER, and S-70 BLACK HAWK.
