PANews, on November 20, according to The Block, BlackRock has registered the name "iShares Staked Ethereum Trust" in Delaware, indicating their plan to launch a new ETF fund backed by Ether. This application was submitted by Daniel Schweiger, the CEO of BlackRock, who was previously in charge of registering the first iShares Ether fund in 2023. Earlier, Nasdaq submitted a modification in July, intending to add staking functionality to the existing iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA). ETHA is currently managing assets of nearly 11.5 billion dollars, making it the largest Ethereum ETF fund on the market.
