According to reports, Tether is advancing the open-source plan for the Bitcoin Mining Operating System (MOS), which is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2025. MOS features modularity, IoT architecture, and high scalability, supporting deployments from Raspberry Pi to million-unit Mining Rig levels, aiming to provide small and medium-sized mining enterprises with a platform for fair competition with listed companies while reducing reliance on third-party software.
