Starknet stake upgrade: STRK Staking v2 will launch on the Mainnet on June 17.
According to reports, Starknet, a layer 2 network of Ethereum, announced that STRK Staking v2 is planned to be launched on the mainnet on June 17, and the upgrade brings two key features to validators: proof-of-block and commission adjustments, allowing validators to increase commissions under strict conditions that protect delegators. Starknet added that to ensure the stability of the mainnet for this upgrade, the staking contract will be paused for a few hours at the time of deployment to migrate from v1 to v2 and allow validators time to integrate.
