On June 14, according to reports, Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm is raising defense funds for the trial set to begin on July 14 in New York. The Ethereum Foundation announced a donation of $500,000 and pledged to match community donations up to a maximum of $750,000. The foundation stated, “Privacy is normal, writing code is not a crime.”
