AI has taken on 30-50% of tasks in Salesforce

Salesforce, a software development company, has automated a significant part of its work using artificial intelligence. This was stated by the company’s CEO Marc Benioff, Bloomberg reports.

“AI is currently performing 30% to 50% of the work in Salesforce,” he clarified.

Neural networks are used for software development and customer service. This allows hiring fewer people.

Salesforce sells an AI product that promises to automate customer support without human involvement. The tool’s accuracy has reached 93%, noted Benioff.

“We all need to understand that artificial intelligence is capable of doing what people used to do. We can move on to more valuable work,” said the speaker.

In the 2000s, Salesforce revolutionized the software sales industry by offering a tool for customer relationship management over the internet. Now, the company is integrating new modern technology.

Earlier, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated that 20-30% of the company’s code is written by artificial intelligence.

In August 2024, British trade unions warned of the risk of millions of job cuts due to the development of AI.
