2024'te Oyun NFT'leri: Bilmeniz Gerekenler + Zamanınızı Hak eden 10 Proje

So you’ve probably heard the term “game NFT” thrown around, but what does it actually mean? And more importantly – are any of these projects worth your attention in 2024?

Let me break it down.

What Even Is a Game NFT?

Game NFTs are digital assets that live on blockchain and represent actual ownership inside games. Unlike traditional games where you’re just renting skins and items from the developer, NFTs mean you genuinely own your in-game stuff – you can sell it, trade it, or move it between games.

The concept isn’t entirely new. Back in 2012, Colored Coins on Bitcoin tried something similar, but it wasn’t until CryptoKitties launched in 2017 that the world saw what NFT gaming could actually look like. People were buying virtual cats for thousands of dollars. Then came Axie Infinity (2018), developed by Vietnamese developers, which turned gaming into a legitimate earn-while-playing machine and sparked the entire play-to-earn movement.

Why Game NFTs? The Real Benefits

You actually own your stuff. Your swords, land, characters – they’re yours on the blockchain, not locked in some company’s server.

Cross-game potential. Theoretically, NFTs could work across multiple games. Buy a weapon in Game A, use it in Game B. The infrastructure isn’t quite there yet, but the vision is solid.

Passive income possibilities. Some games let you earn tokens or rent out your NFTs to other players.

True scarcity. Limited edition items genuinely exist in finite quantities. No developer can just print more whenever they want.

The Catch – Why Game NFTs Keep Flopping

Let’s be real: the industry is still messy.

Most projects die. Game studios launch, hype goes crazy, then they abandon the project. Your NFT bag becomes worthless overnight.

People chase money, not fun. Developers often prioritize token economics over actual gameplay, leading to boring, grind-heavy experiences.

Value is fragile. An NFT’s worth depends on game popularity, community sentiment, rarity, and market volatility. One bad update? Your asset tanks.

Token inflation kills everything. Unlimited token supply often crashes the in-game economy, destroying earnings potential.

10 Game NFTs Actually Worth Watching in 2024

1. Axie Infinity

The OG play-to-earn. You collect cute Axie creatures and battle them against other players. Mobile app available on iOS and Android. Still relevant, still profitable if you know what you’re doing. The team keeps updating it, so it’s not completely dead yet.

2. Pixels

Pixel-art farming game on Ronin blockchain. 900k+ players. Two earning models: rent your NFT land to other players (passive income), or farm/complete quests yourself for $BERRY and $PIXEL tokens. Over 2 years of development with real community backing.

3. Shrapnel

First-person shooter on blockchain. Free-to-play, available through Epic Games Store. Looks like actual AAA production with real funding behind it. Earn NFTs and tokens by completing in-game tasks. Designed for adults, not just crypto nerds.

4. Heroes of Mavia

Tower defense strategy game (think Clash of Clans but on blockchain). Over 1 million downloads since January launch on iOS and Android. Strong mobile optimization. Build and expand your base, battle other players.

5. Big Time

Multiplayer action RPG with $21 million funding. Six character classes: Time Warrior, Chronomancer, Shadowblade, Quantum Fixer, Battlemancer, TechBlade. Earn through crafting, trading NFTs, and completing combat quests for $BIGTIME tokens.

6. Illuvium

Open-world RPG meets auto-battler mechanics. Built on Immutable X (near-zero gas fees). Catch creatures called Illuvials (basically blockchain Pokémon) and battle them. Main token: $ILV. Requires some initial NFT investment but genuinely fun if you like exploration.

7. Life Beyond

MMORPG with FPS/third-person shooting. You’re a colonist on planet Dolos. Uses $DOLS token. Mix of solo and team gameplay, community challenges, multiple character classes. Currently on PC with plans for other platforms.

8. Wreck League

Fighting game from Nway, backed by Animoca and Yuga Labs. Think Street Fighter but on blockchain. Two versions: Web3 (requires Mech NFT) and Web2 (free-to-play). Integrates four of Yuga Labs’ NFT collections. Works on mobile and PC.

9. The Beacon

Roguelike fantasy game by Treasure DAO on Arbitrum. Beautiful pixel graphics. Roguelike dungeons, loot drops as NFTs (cosmetics, emotes). Regular tournaments with NFT/token prizes. One of the biggest player bases on Arbitrum ecosystem.

10. Crazy Defense Heroes

Card-battling tower defense from Animoca Brands. Mix strategic card collection with tower defense gameplay. Available on Android and iOS. Free-to-start with actual fun factor built in.

The Real Talk

Game NFTs aren’t dead – but most of them are. The industry is still figuring out how to balance “actual game” with “blockchain mechanics.” Some projects genuinely have staying power (Axie, Pixels, Mavia), while others will inevitably collapse.

Before you invest time or money:

  • Check when the game last updated (dead projects don’t update)
  • Look at current player counts (declining numbers = red flag)
  • Understand token economics (unlimited supply = inflation coming)
  • Play for fun first, money second (or you’ll hate it)

The future of gaming is probably blockchain-enabled, but it won’t look like most of today’s projects. The winners will be games that are actually fun to play – the blockchain part becomes invisible to the player.
