Don't remind me again today

At an offline meetup yesterday, a friend asked me what I thought about Wlfi. I said directly: USD1 is a juicy piece of meat, definitely worth paying attention to.

Why do I say that? A major platform has already launched the Wlfi/USD1 trading pair. To me, that move is a clear signal. Looking back at previous stablecoin trading pairs going live, didn't each one trigger a wave of market activity?

The direction for Wlfi is already clear. If a major exchange or mainstream public chain takes further action in the future, things could get even more interesting. Of course, this is just my personal observation—there are always uncertainties in the market.

It's true, the top platforms are playing quite aggressively with trading pairs, in previous years the stablecoin pairs were never left out.

The arbitrage opportunity is so obvious. I was also pondering this trading pair yesterday, but the on-chain data hasn’t reacted yet. The launch of the trading pair means that institutions have already chosen their sides. The historical backtest success rate for this type of signal can indeed reach 68%, but the liquidation price is not far off. Once a leading public chain connects, that’s when the storm eye will form; right now, it’s just the eve of FOMO.

Is there market activity as soon as the stablecoin trading pair is launched? Why have I never caught it? Every time I end up chasing the price and getting trapped.

As soon as a top platform lists a trading pair, they start hyping it up. I’ve seen this trick too many times, and it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll make a profit.

Listen, can you determine the market just because the trading pair is listed? This logic seems a bit questionable...

Oh no, it's that same stablecoin trading pair routine again... Every time they say "history will repeat itself," but as soon as gas fees spike, it's all over—the arbitrage opportunity evaporates instantly. Just because a spot trading pair goes live doesn't mean the market will take off. That's a huge logical flaw. Where's the on-chain data? How's the liquidity? Don't just rely on the platform giving it attention.

The leading platform opening trading pairs is indeed a signal.
