technically speaking, 1 mon for gas is barely a band-aid... what's the actual fee structure looking like here

1 MON floor... according to the current price cross-calculation of the bridge cost, is this number enough to raise a question mark?

I checked the wallet, and sure enough, there is 1 MON sitting inside. Can't let the free gas fee go to waste!

Wow, did Monad really give an Airdrop of 1 coin? How much bridge fee can this save?

Another trap again? I've been through this, those projects in 2018 also used this sugar-coated cannonball tactic, and in the end... never mind, let's go check the Wallet.
Looks like Monad just airdropped 1 MON to certain wallets—probably to cover gas fees for early transactions on their network.
If you're planning to interact with Monad and need some gas to get started, might be worth checking your wallet. Could save you a bridge transaction.
