X platform rolled out a new feature that's worth noting. Posts containing altered videos or photos designed to trick viewers now get tagged with a "Manipulated media" warning label. This move aims to help users spot content that's been doctored to spread false narratives.

Ngl, this label comes a bit late; it should have been done earlier. Now deepfakes are everywhere.

Really, do tags work? Those photo editing experts have probably already figured out how to get around it.

It should have been like this long ago; it's strange not to add labels in an era where deepfakes are everywhere.

This feature should have been available long ago, why is it only being implemented now when deepfakes are everywhere?

Anyway, labeling is useless; those who are meant to be fooled will still be fooled. Human weaknesses are just there.

According to the database, X's speed in tagging this time is faster than the project party's launch... It's been a long time since deepfakes have been running rampant, and what will ultimately be realized is really the emergence of this label, not those altered video clips. It should be included in the Guinness World Records, to see who can match the effectiveness of the "warning label."

Ha, finally someone is labeling deepfakes. Now the cost of spreading rumors has gone up.
