Worth checking out some standout projects from Base Batch 002's top 50 finalists:
Upshot Cards grabbed the overall winner spot—think prediction markets meet collectible trading cards. It's basically high-stakes forecasting wrapped in a card game format, letting users bet on outcomes while building their deck.
Then there's Glider, which tackles the annoying gas fee problem. Their automated portfolio management runs completely gas-free, making it way easier to rebalance holdings without constantly worrying about transaction costs eating into returns.

I've seen this card prediction trap many times, and there are really not many that can make money.

Glider really saved me; I lost so much profit just from rebalancing because of gas... The night before last, I checked the gas tracker, and it was 5 gwei for 88 bucks per transaction, totally broke me. Upshot Cards sounds like a big gamble; I think I'll just save on gas instead, after all, I'm particularly good at saving 30 bucks with three hours of effort (laughing at myself).

Prediction market cards? Sounds quite novel, just not sure how the gameplay is.

Ngl upshot cards sound a bit crazy, prediction market with collectible cards? It's indeed novel but also risky.

Gas fees for free? Is it really that harsh? Glider is really addressing the pain points this time.
