OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's ex-boyfriend was robbed, losing 11 million dollars in Crypto Assets.

According to the New York Post, the residence of Lachy Groom, a venture capitalist and former boyfriend of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, was the scene of a $11 million Crypto Assets robbery in San Francisco.

According to police reports, on the evening of November 23, an armed robber disguised as a delivery person rang the doorbell of a $4.4 million residence located on Dorland Street. The suspect claimed to be delivering a package to resident Joshua, and after the victim opened the door, followed him inside, then pulled out a firearm and restrained him with tape.

The robbers emptied the victim's Ethereum and Bitcoin wallets within about 90 minutes, stealing their phone and laptop. The police arrived at the scene at 6:45 PM and found the victim with minor injuries.

31-year-old Groom is a well-known venture capitalist, once hailed as Australia's entrepreneurial prodigy. The case is considered a targeted attack by an organized crime group. No one has been arrested yet, and the investigation is still ongoing.
