Don't remind me again today

Contracts may seem to have a low barrier to entry, but they actually test human nature.

If the direction is right and the leverage is maximized, it can really make the numbers in your account soar.
If you step in the wrong direction and your mindset collapses, it can take just a few seconds to send you back to square one.

In the beginning, I also got inflated. I thought I had a talent for trading, and whenever the market fluctuated a bit, I would go all in. When someone in the community shouted "Charge!", I would follow without blinking. Once, I got incredibly lucky; in one night, my account tripled. I sat in front of my computer, really thinking that I had found the button to wealth.

Then I woke up the next day, the market reversed, and the account was zero.

At that moment, I realized: contracts are never a tool for making quick money; they are a mirror that clearly reflects every aspect of your greed, luck, and impulsiveness.

Market fluctuations test not how good your technical analysis is, but whether you can control your own desires and fears. You think you are in control of the market, but in reality, you are just being led by market emotions.

Later, after much reflection, I gradually realized several ironclad rules for survival:

**The first rule, a light position is the survival line.**
Don't dream of a sudden turnaround; first, find a way to survive. As long as the account is still there, opportunities will always exist.

**The second rule, taking profit and cutting losses is not a suggestion, it is discipline.**
The market won't let you off just because you've lost. Cut your losses when you need to, and leave when it's time. Dragging things out will only lead to a worse outcome.

**Thirdly, holding a cash position is also a strategy.**
Not every day has a market worth entering. Impulsively opening positions will only bury yourself in a pit.

I have seen too many people who were flaunting their profit screenshots in the group one day and then disappeared the next. In the end, those who remain are the ones who understand restraint and manage to stay clear-headed amidst the chaos.

Getting rich quickly is an illusion that fades away; stability is the only true path. The market may allow you to make a quick profit, but only by strictly adhering to the rules can you achieve long-term success.

It's not about who makes money faster in contract trading, but rather who lasts longer. If you can endure loneliness and control your impulses, you might just become the final winner.
