You know what's wild? Projects can't win no matter what they do.
Team member bounced? Community screams about those vesting cliffs being too generous. Someone quit voluntarily? Same complaints, different day.
Before token launch, everyone's hyping it to the moon. After TGE drops? Suddenly it's all disappointment and finger-pointing.
Raised capital from venture funds? "Oh great, another VC cash grab extracting value." Went the bootstrap route instead? "Zero traction, probably couldn't even land VC backing anyway."
Basically whatever path you pick, the community's gonna roast you mercilessly 😂

honestly this hits different when you're actually running validator infrastructure. the vesting cliff thing? classic case of folk missing the slashing risk math entirely. nobody cares about network resilience till shit breaks lol

To be honest, this is the norm in the crypto world, there are never any winners.
When the team leaves, they blame vesting; when they leave, they blame too. It's ridiculous.
Before the TGE, they hype it up, and after the TGE, it's all complaints. It's laughable.
When financing, they curse the VC for playing people for suckers, but when they don't finance, they say there's no strength. Why are they getting criticized no matter what?
Simply don't listen to this group of people.

To be honest, this is a common problem in the crypto world, no matter what you do, it's wrong.

Indeed, the project party is just the scapegoat; no matter what they do, it's wrong.
There's always someone complaining about everything they do; this is the fate of web3, I suppose.
VC financing gets criticized, self-funding gets criticized, it's ridiculous.

No matter how the project is done, it's wrong anyway. This community is really something.
