Ethereum co-founder just moved $765,000 worth of ETH to fund privacy-focused messaging platforms. The donation signals continued commitment to encrypted communication tools in the crypto space. Privacy advocates have been calling for more infrastructure support, and this substantial contribution could accelerate development of decentralized messaging solutions. The move comes amid growing concerns about data security and surveillance in traditional communication channels. Several projects building on privacy-preserving technologies are likely beneficiaries of this funding push.

Ngl, this operation is a bit extreme, there is indeed a lack of funds in the privacy infrastructure... but what can 765k really change? There are a bunch of projects on the messaging side that are struggling, it still feels like a drop in the bucket.

There really should be investment in privacy infrastructure, but I'm afraid it will again end up being a fool's errand for those air projects.

Investing in privacy infrastructure is indeed necessary; otherwise, how can we compete with those centralized giants?

Ha, it's this trap of privacy narrative again. Although I support it, to be honest, what can this 765k change... What we really need are ecosystem users.

Finally, someone is investing money in privacy, but is 765k really enough? It feels like it's just the beginning.
