Original Title: CoinShares Withdraws SEC Application for Staking Solana ETF
Original Link:
Asset management firm CoinShares has withdrawn its application for a staking Solana ETF listing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ).
According to the SEC, this withdrawal is analyzed to be due to the fact that the fund restructuring and asset acquisition have not been completed.
Earlier, in the United States, REX-Osprey launched the first staking Solana ETF, followed by Bitwise listing a second staking Solana ETF in October. The Bitwise ETF garnered attention by attracting approximately $230 million in assets on its first trading day.
However, despite investor interest in staking Solana ETFs, the price of Solana(SOL) continues to decline. The price of Solana, which exceeded $250 last September, has now fallen to around $120.
