The H-1B program debate is heating up. Some argue it's outdated now that tech talent pools have shifted dramatically. With AI-driven workforce reductions sweeping through the industry, the claim of a worker shortage seems harder to justify. Layoffs are hitting companies left and right. Maybe it's time to rethink whether this visa pathway still serves its original purpose.

Not gonna lie, it's really absurd to keep pushing the "shortage of talent" narrative in the midst of the AI wave... Laying off employees on one hand while still demanding H1B visas—big tech's logic is truly something else.

Well, this is awkward. They say there's a talent shortage, but then there's a wave of layoffs... The outdated H-1B system really does need to be reformed, but are big tech companies really that short on people?

Honestly, the H-1B should have been reformed a long time ago. Still hyping up a talent shortage is just laughable... With AI layoffs happening, they're still pretending there's a shortage?

To be honest, the H-1B trap really needs to be changed. Are there still people missing? Laughing to death.

Really, after this wave of layoffs, there are still people shouting that they lack talent, it just makes me laugh.

Nah, really, while laying off employees and shouting about a lack of talent, this trap of rhetoric should have gone bankrupt long ago.

It's hilarious. They're saying there's a shortage of talent while laying off people with AI. This logic is amazing.

It sounds like the tech companies are playing word games, saying they're short on staff while laying off a lot of people, and the H1B is still going around in circles.
