Do you remember back in 2021? Blockchain games were all the rage, and gold farming was everywhere.
What about now? It's all supported by faith.
I just tried OnlyFarms in the Seeker app on my phone, and to be honest, there's not much of a fundamental difference from those pixel farming games back in the day. The graphics have changed, but the gameplay is still the same old routine. What's the problem? The hype has completely cooled down.
Blockchain games seem too difficult to think about. Players come for the profits, while project teams think about how to monetize - this in itself is an imbalance. What’s worse is that most teams simply don’t know how to tell a story. Without a captivating narrative, there’s no long-term expectation for the token economy, and the gold mining profits are pitifully low.
Without all three key elements, the game naturally won't heat up.
GameFi now resembles a false proposition; players are not foolish, and project teams lack patience. After the bubble of Play to Earn has burst, who is still willing to be the one to take over?

Where are those people from 2021 now? It really makes me laugh to death.
---
To put it bluntly, no one wants to play garbage games and can't make money, it's common sense.
---
OnlyFarms? It's just another skin-swapping trick, the project party is really cunning.
---
The deadlock in blockchain games is so obvious, why did it take until now for someone to point it out?
---
Earning from gold farming is pitifully low and you still get played for suckers, I really can't understand who is still playing.
---
Story, economic model, real earnings... it's hard to pick one, let alone say that they all exist.
---
The era of dumb buyers is over, everyone, let's be a bit more clear-headed.

Really, who didn't get Rekt during that wave in 2021? Those who are still around are basically the suckers with strong self-awareness, haha.
I’m not even interested in clicking on something like OnlyFarms, I’m tired of skin-swapped games.
The problem is that no one really wants to make a good game; everyone is thinking about playing people for suckers and running away, treating players like fools.
No matter how bad the project party's story is, the Token economy still needs to be decent; now these are just doing the bare minimum.
Play to Earn is just a joke; the bubble should have burst long ago.
This circle needs people to make games, not people to do financing.

The routines from 2021 are really no longer appealing; those still playing OnlyFarms are true believers.
---
The pursuit of profits simply cannot retain people; the story is told so poorly that there’s no hope.
---
GameFi is dead; where will the next trend emerge?
---
Earnings from gold farming are pitiful; who would still be willing to grind every day?
---
When the bubble bursts, it bursts; there are fewer and fewer dumb buyers.
---
The gameplay is the same, but the visuals are different; can this really be considered innovation? It’s laughable.
---
The goals of the project party and the players are not aligned; how can it possibly gain popularity?
---
Is faith valuable? Can it be exchanged for food?
---
The term "chain games" sounds a bit off-putting now.
---
Isn’t OnlyFarms just a reskinned farm? It’s meaningless.

The dream of getting rich overnight by playing games has to end. Now, those who still play blockchain games are really only doing it for belief.
To put it bluntly, the project party wants to play people for suckers, and players want to make quick money; no one is genuinely making games.
I've also looked at that OnlyFarms thing, it's just trash with a different skin, and the gameplay is terrible.
No returns, no story, no appeal; it's completely cold.
Who would still continue with this scheme? I'm not playing anymore.
GameFi has truly fallen into eyewash.
