🚨 Favourable Information, but the market is being threatened? Powell is about to leave!

News this morning: Powell held an emergency meeting and will resign, to be replaced by the Director of the White House Council of Economic Advisers. On the surface, this is Favourable Information, but the market immediately panicked - this new director Hassett is a Trump ally, who has repeatedly criticized Powell for lowering interest rates too slowly, arguing that they should be reduced to around 3% as soon as possible.
⚡ If so, this means that: Powell not resigning = Slow interest rate cuts, the market is uncertain Powell resigning = New chairman may cut interest rates significantly, Favourable Information is almost certain, short-term volatility is hard to avoid, but in the medium and long term, for risky assets, there is significant potential stimulus!
