[Coin World] Recently there has been a significant piece of news - a leading exchange has acquired the tokenization asset platform Backed Finance.
What does the company Backed do? In simple terms, it packages traditional financial assets like stocks and ETFs into digital Tokens, enabling on-chain trading. In fact, the products issued by this platform have already been used by that exchange.
During an interview with the joint CEO, it was revealed that after the acquisition is completed, these stocks and ETF token products will be more deeply integrated into their own platform. It seems they are going to increase their stakes in the RWA( real-world assets) track.
The boundaries between traditional finance and the crypto world are being gradually broken down by such mergers and acquisitions.
