Having participated in so many rounds of trading competitions, to be honest, I’m a bit overwhelmed — the competition is too fierce. I originally planned to take it easy this time, but I still couldn’t resist.

With the NIGHT competition almost over, it’s expected that today’s trading volume will reach around 2 billion, with over 20,000 participants sharing the prize pool. I roughly calculated how much I need to make up to stay competitive. Additionally, the competitions for the VSN and LAVA projects are also about to end; I tried trading 2,000 yuan yesterday, but ultimately gave up.

Honestly, I always feel these statistics are strange, either manipulated behind the scenes or the final announced entry thresholds are not calculated this way at all. Last time, I got burned trying to hedge, losing $1,200 directly — that lesson was very deep. But this time, I couldn’t hold back either and ended up doing some hedging operations. Sometimes, rationality and impulsiveness are just a matter of a single thought. Now, I can only wait for the final results.

Really, it's no fun to be so competitive to this extent. A 2 billion dollar cake divided among 20,000 people is purely a gambling mentality. To be honest, there must be some tricks with the data. It's always like this, and the thresholds keep changing. Hedging again? Bro, can't you learn? Isn't the lesson from the $1,200 loss last time enough?

Starting hedging again, brother. Don't suffer a huge loss this time.

Here we go again. Every time, we say to just lie flat, but in the end, we still get involved. That's who we are.

Here we go again... This time, really stop the bleeding, brother. Isn't the lesson of losing 1,200 bucks enough?

yo wait, 20bn liquidity across 20k+ participants? ngl that statistical distribution feels off... let me pull the data real quick because pattern analysis suggests classic wash trading signatures here. flagged transactions alert 🚨

Once again, I crashed between rationality and impulsiveness, this cycle is really incredible. Actually, I had already noticed there was a problem with this data, but I couldn't help but jump in, truly shooting myself in the foot. A 2 billion dollar cake divided among more than 20,000 people, that's just a small amount per person, why bother fussing? Hedging, you know, one crash is enough to teach you a lesson, why do it again? Lying flat sounds good, but when it comes to critical moments, you still get carried away. I have this problem too. It feels like these competition designs are just to cut leeks, the entry threshold doesn't match the final results at all. Haven't you learned from the $1200 lesson yet? Now you're repeating the same mistakes.
