As 2025 is about to turn the page, I recently made an interesting discovery. According to an annual summary released by a crypto market data agency, this year's performance in the derivatives market is definitely worth a look. I’ve selected a few data points that I find quite interesting—let’s discuss:
1️⃣ Speaking of this year's story, the change in institutional holdings of BTC is the most eye-catching. At the beginning of the year, about 600,000 BTC were held in public accounts, and by the end of the year, the number had risen to a higher figure. What does this near-straight upward trend indicate? It suggests that large funds are continuously accumulating, and the overall trend has remained steady without much fluctuation.

Institutions have been secretly accumulating shares, and we're retail investors still debating whether to buy or not... It's fucking ridiculous.

600,000 to "higher"? Can you be more specific with the numbers? Saying it like that is the same as not saying anything. Are institutions really that stable? I think it's just that the concentration of chips is getting higher and higher, and retail investors are still being cut.

This wave of institutional accumulation is incredible. It moved straight up without any pullback. This is the real strategy of major players.
Happy New Year, everyone! ~
