Just updated to Gate v8.0.5 and I have to say, the performance boost is actually noticeable this time.
The first thing I noticed was the UI/UX cleanup—the clutter is gone. The new visual style feels much more professional and easier on the eyes, especially in Dark Mode. Navigation between sections is significantly smoother; no more lag when switching from my wallet back to the markets.
Favorite Update: (Spot Trading)
This is where the update shines for me. The spot trading interface is much cleaner. The charts load faster, and the order book visibility has been improved so I can track depth better without squinting. It feels snappier to place quick limit orders.
Gate Square: Scrolling through the feed here feels more fluid. Images load instantly, and interaction feels native and responsive.
Suggestion:
Ideally, I’d love to see more customization options for the bottom navigation bar so I can pin my most-used features!
