Recently, Trust Wallet was hacked, resulting in a loss of $7 million for users. A major exchange promptly announced compensation, once again demonstrating what true platform responsibility looks like.

Looking back at the history of the crypto industry, from past black swan events to current security threats, each critical moment reveals the exchange’s attitude toward user assets. This "SAFU" style protection is not just a marketing slogan but a commitment made with real money.

Behind user trust is actually the accumulation of community consensus. Whether a platform can attract highly loyal participants depends on its performance during crises. Strong security measures and transparent response mechanisms directly impact community cohesion.

From recent market trends, major cryptocurrencies like BNB, ETH, ZEC, etc., are all supported by their respective community bases. The reason these communities can maintain their enthusiasm is because participants have confidence in the ecosystem. And this confidence often stems from the platform and project teams’ reliable performance during critical moments.

Security incidents remind us how important it is to choose a trustworthy trading environment. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, understanding the platform’s risk management capabilities and user protection mechanisms should always be a top priority.

To be honest, this compensation definitely boosts the reputation, but I'm more concerned about why Trust Wallet was taken down and where the security vulnerability lies. Wait, does this exchange really compensate in full, or is it just a PR stunt? The most ridiculous thing in the crypto world is that as soon as something happens, they start working for big platforms. No one's SAFU is more reliable than their own private keys. Seven million dollars are gone, and many people are about to go bankrupt... That being said, you still have to manage your own money well and not trust any wallet too much.

Compensation is good, but how can we ensure it doesn't happen again next time? Wallet security really needs to be taken seriously by yourself.

$7 million dare to compensate? Why do I feel this is just the tip of the iceberg... --- Compensation is compensation, but why hasn't Trust Wallet fixed that vulnerability yet? --- It's called SAFU in a nice way, but in a harsh way, it's just being forced to pay up. --- A truly responsible platform shouldn't get hacked; anyone can patch the barn after the sheep are lost. --- It's always the same, whenever something happens, they say "we are responsible," making it seem like they have a lot of conscience. --- Wait, what is CZ marketing again? --- Trust is something that those who haven't been backstabbed can't describe how precious it is. --- Now choosing an exchange depends on whose vault is the deepest; everything else is just superficial. --- Still the same saying, self-custody is the safest; no one's promise is as solid as your private key.

Compensation is compensation, but 7 million still hurts a bit. Need to reflect on how Trust Wallet prevented this.

$7 million, just pay when asked, now that's real confidence. Some exchanges should learn from this.
