In the crypto market, the easiest way to suffer losses is to let opportunities slip away quietly. It's important to regularly self-check: How are the sectors I initially believed in doing? Do the assets I hold still meet my expectations? Why have some opportunities disappeared? This is called option decay, which is hard to prevent.

Instead of waiting passively, it's better to take proactive action. Using low-cost methods—paying attention to market dynamics, continuously learning about new projects, maintaining wallet liquidity, and diversifying across multiple platforms—these can help you seize new opportunities at any time. Don't put all your chips on one path; open multiple doors so you have options among various market possibilities. Today's allocations determine whether you can seize opportunities tomorrow.

That's what they say, but how many can actually do it? I am one of those unlucky people who believe in the potential of a track but end up getting trapped. The term "option decay" hits close to home; sometimes it's not that the track isn't good enough, but that my own laziness gradually eats away at me.

Handshake, the term option decay is so spot on, I've been cut like that before. Long positions can really save your ass; relying on just one project is just waiting to be taught a lesson. Stick to dynamic adjustments, don't let opportunities slip right under your nose. That's exactly what I'm doing now, rotating my focus across several tracks, and I feel much more relaxed. Liquidity is the key; dead coins are not as good as alive coins. You really have to actively discover opportunities yourself; waiting for a pie to fall from the sky is unrealistic.

That really hits home. I missed out on a wave of SOL opportunities a couple of months ago, and now I truly regret it.

There's nothing wrong with what you said, but how many people can really do it? I'm the kind of fool who, after nodding in agreement, turns around and goes all in on a certain track. The biggest problem with retail investors is greediness—wanting more and trying to swallow the elephant, insisting on taking a big gamble. I've heard of option decay for the first time, but indeed, opportunities are fleeting. Multi-platform deployment sounds easy, but in reality, you have to monitor gas fees and deal with different risks, which is exhausting. Those who can maintain a calm mindset and diversify their portfolio would have been financially free long ago. I think the key is to break the habit of chasing highs, though it's easier said than done...

It's been like this for a while. The current problem is that there are too many retail investors, and the opportunities are being wiped out.
