There are two ways the Supertrend (black sell) works. Price either corrects before it, or after it. Here we’re seeing the post breakout correction. Since the bottom uptrend it started in 2024, as you can see, it hasn’t had a monthly close below the red average (kijunsen). If it drops below it, the trend could end. As you can see on the chart, it also pulled back to the blue average that drives the market, the EMA21. When I look at the prior pullbacks, it can leave a wick into the green support band below. That’s why I see maximum pain as that band as well.
