The dominance of Solana in DEX trading remains undeniable—nearly $100B in volume over the past month has cemented its position at the top. But here's the question on everyone's minds: which chain has the momentum and infrastructure to challenge this lead? As more liquidity migrates and layer-2 solutions mature, the competitive landscape keeps shifting. Solana's throughput and low fees have built a strong foundation, yet emerging protocols continue to erode market share in meaningful ways.

sol's $100b monthly volume sounds impressive until you actually audit the underlying liquidity pools—insufficient validation on half those pairs, ngl. technically speaking, momentum means nothing without proper security framework verification. which layer-2 is even worth migrating to? most are just deprecated practices with fresh ui.

Solana is indeed impressive, but who can say for sure if this wave of Layer 2 will take off? The tactics are still the same old tricks.

Is this 100 billion on Solana just going to be over? Just wait, the counterattack of Layer 2 is right around the corner.

100B monthly trading volume sounds big, but have you calculated the actual cost of Solana's gas fees? I tracked the data late at night, and during network congestion, gwei soars... While L2 solutions are cheap, the cross-chain bridge setup is a nightmare, and all the gas fee savings are lost in slippage.

Solana is indeed powerful, but I'm still betting on Arbitrum. L2 is about to take off.
