Comparing contract platforms, none of them have synchronized prices; each controls its own prices. You can manipulate them however you want. Those who haven't been cut yet are just temporarily safe. When the time comes, they'll cut you with a single blow, tearing you apart.

Both sides of the market have their own setups, so the difference shouldn't be too much. Of course, the recent surge of AIA spot trading to 48 was quite surprising!
