Strategy, a Bitcoin treasury management company, resumed Bitcoin purchases after a week without acquisitions to increase its dollar reserves to US$ 2.2 billion last week.
The company founded by Michael Saylor bought 1,229 bitcoins last week for US$ 108.8 million, at an average price of US$ 88,568 per asset, according to a document released this Monday (29).
With this, Strategy’s total holdings increased to 672,497 BTC, acquired for US$ 50.44 million, representing an average purchase price of US$ 74,997 per Bitcoin.
The acquisition was financed by the sale of US$ 108.8 million in Class A common stock.
MSTR shares fell 1% in pre-market trading on Monday, to US$ 157 per share, while Bitcoin retreated to around US$ 87,000.
