I actually think there's a problem with this dualism... Reality isn't so black and white. Is the actual ROI efficiency of those "steady exit" strategies necessarily high? I've seen too many conservatives miss out on deflationary cycles and end up being forced to buy the dip when the market clears. Although aggressive traders may experience dramatic swings, once the product lifecycle declines, no amount of courage can change the fundamentals. The key is whether the incentive balance is sustainable.
