Trading in the crypto circle, understanding the main force's movements is more important than anything else. I have summarized 5 practical rules, which are based on experience gained through countless oscillations.

**Rapid rise and slow fall = accumulation**. The market soars quickly, but the decline is sluggish, which usually indicates that the big players are quietly accumulating chips and preparing ammunition for the next surge. Conversely, **fast fall and slow rise = distribution**. A sharp drop combined with a sluggish rebound suggests that the main force is gradually cashing out, and market bearishness is spreading.

The top area tests psychological resilience the most. **High volume but no selling, run quickly if there's no volume**—a sudden increase in trading volume at the top may indicate potential for further push; but if the volume shrinks and no one is taking over, profits should be protected. The bottom requires more patience. **High volume at the bottom doesn't mean rush to buy; sustained volume is the signal to act**. A sudden spike in volume at the bottom often indicates a trap for more gains, but if funds keep flowing in and volume continues to rise, it shows genuine support is being built.

The most critical point: **Price follows sentiment, and volume reflects consensus**. Market fluctuations are essentially a game of emotions, and volume is the most authentic record of this game—it reflects real fund flows and the true attitude of participants.

They're all correct, but in actual operation, these rules become increasingly difficult to apply.

Really, trading volume is like a magic mirror; it can't deceive people.

actually, volume doesn't lie but people sure do. been watching this play out for years and tbh the "emotion vs volume" dichotomy hits different once you've gotten rekt enough times. the real tell? when volume dries up at the top—that's when you know it's time to gtfo, not when everyone's still fomoing in lmao

It makes some sense, but how many can really do it? Most people are still being exploited as leeks by the main players.

Sounds good in theory, but in reality, it still depends on luck. The last time, I followed this logic and was stubbornly hammered by the main force in the opposite direction.
