Investors are waiting outside DJI's building to recruit talent, proposing 20 million yuan in startup funds.

On December 29, according to media reports, at a café in Shenzhen Vientiane World, investor Lu Zechuan had just finished a meeting with a former DJI entrepreneur who left the company to start a business. When he looked up, he saw a peer at the neighboring table explaining financing strategies to another DJI employee.

Such scenes are not uncommon within a five-kilometer radius centered around DJI's headquarters, "Sky City." According to statistics, since 2025, nearly 20 companies founded by former DJI employees have successfully secured funding. Some business leaders, merely revealing their intention to leave, have been able to obtain angel round valuations of up to 20 million yuan.
