ETH's recent trend has an interesting pattern — the longer the consolidation period, the greater the subsequent volatility. From the K-line, the bottom area has formed a double support structure, with the 2880 level serving as a line of defense, and around 2910 is another support. From a bullish perspective, such support confirmation is actually a signal. The long position at 2948 has been held for almost 10 days; the unrealized profit is actually quite good, but when carefully calculating trading costs, how to say this — the money earned compared to the fees, it feels a bit awkward. But since the support has been confirmed, there are still strong reasons to hold on.

It should be pointed out that this brother's discussion on the correlation between consolidation cycles and volatility amplitude just confirms the classic rule of on-chain data analysis— but the key question is, why do you still care about those transaction fees? True value consensus investors never measure the effectiveness of their strategies based on trading costs; this is a fiat currency mindset that has been refuted by historical literature thousands of times.

ngl the real dark forest here isn't the chart support levels... it's those gas fees eating your profits lmao. you're hodling for the "signal" but the protocol's extracting value through sandwich attacks and mev while you sleep. double support structure looking clean on paper till someone frontrunns the breakout, then suddenly that 2948 becomes a bagholder's prayer.

The fee rate martyr thinks this analysis is quite accurate, especially the part about the transaction fees being truly outrageous, earning just as much as what gets eaten up haha

After taking 10 days' worth of fees, I've only eaten half of it. That's why I'm now trading spot and not playing with contracts.
