Many people believe that to make money in the crypto world, you must master complex technical analysis and be proficient in various advanced strategies. I have also fallen into this misconception: stacking indicators all over the screen, staying up late staring at candlestick charts. And what was the result? Several consecutive losses, getting more and more frustrated and losing even more.

Until one day, I decided to operate in the opposite way, using the "dumbest" method in the industry. My account started to grow steadily, and I never experienced that embarrassing streak of losses again. This approach boils down to three simple rules, with no technical complexity at all.

**First: Only trade breakouts, ignore consolidations.** I avoid sideways trading, main force shakeouts, and choose not to participate. I only act when the price volume surges and breaks to a new high. When there's a genuine breakout, I follow the trend to capture some profit; if it's a false breakout, I cut losses immediately. No predictions, no fantasies—just straightforward and brutal.

**Second: Never compromise on position management.** No matter how confident I am, I never risk more than 20% of my capital on a single trade. Take profits when earned, stop when losing, never add to a position, and never fight the market. This way, trading frequency decreases, emotions stabilize, and it becomes easier to catch those real big moves.

**Third: Strictly follow the trend and abandon all judgments.** I never try to bottom-fish or guess where the top is; I only extend the trend. When the market goes up, I go long; when it goes down, I go short. I treat myself as a pure execution tool, not a master analyst. For volatile assets like $NIGHT and $WET, this method is especially effective.

Eventually, I realized: trading in the crypto space isn’t about having more tricks to make more money, but about whether you can repeatedly and stubbornly execute simple rules. The real difference between traders is always discipline, not technical skill.
