What’s the deal with those online tools claiming to be able to collide private keys? Basically, they’re just scams.
Interestingly, some second-hand platforms actually have people selling these things. You can dig up a bunch of information from the buyer lists, and maybe when they’re old, they can turn around and sell health supplements (laughs). That’s just ridiculous.
But from a technical perspective, where is the problem? We need to talk about the SHA-256 hash algorithm.
A little-known fact—if all the computing power in the world were used to crack a SHA-256 hash, the number of possible combinations, 2²⁵⁶, is astronomically large. It would take far longer than the age of the universe to try them all. You can think of it mathematically: this is fundamentally impossible.
So those tools claiming to find collisions or generate specific private keys fundamentally violate the basic principles of modern cryptography. Instead of wasting money on these, it’s better to learn how to properly store your mnemonic phrases and private keys. That’s the real way to go.

People who buy this stuff are really out of their minds; in front of the number 2^256, it's just giving away money.

Haha, people who buy this stuff are really lacking in intelligence. It's better to just transfer the money directly to my account.

Another one of these IQ tax tools. It's really outrageous that people buy into it, and some actually believe this thing can generate private keys...

Haha, these scammers are really outrageous. Someone actually fell for it.
People who buy this stuff will probably regret it and be furious later.
Once the number 2256 comes out, there's no way out.
Protecting your private key is the real priority; don't think about taking shortcuts.
These kinds of tools are just pure money grabs; even math isn't on their side.
