Aptos is building an interesting Web3 financial network. The collaboration with Microsoft is not just talk—both companies are jointly launching an AI assistant, leveraging Azure OpenAI to lower the barriers for Web3 development, making smart contract development easier to get started.

On the technical front, rapid iteration is underway. The advancement of on-chain limit order books and Raptr consensus directly targets throughput bottlenecks, with TPS goals reaching 160,000. More importantly, the X-Chain accounts enable cross-chain interoperability, which means asset flow between different public chains will become much smoother.

Ecosystem collaborations have already begun. Integration with PayPal and Yellow Card covers 20 countries, allowing users to transfer stablecoins without fees—this directly reduces financial costs for ordinary people. The scale of hundreds of ecosystem projects and millions of users behind it shows that this path is not just a fantasy.

The global financial infrastructure competition in 2026 will be fierce. Whether Aptos’ combination of AI tools lowering barriers, technological breakthroughs, and practical applications in the payment layer can truly take off remains to be seen by the market. If you want to get involved, ecosystem projects might be a good entry point.

Microsoft's backing makes this move quite impressive, but 160,000 TPS sounds pretty intimidating. We'll see if it can really run at that speed when the time comes.

Microsoft endorsement is indeed different, but the real value still lies in implementation capability; integrating with PayPal is the real deal.

Microsoft endorsement is indeed different, but hearing about 160,000 TPS too many times, and it has never been realized in the end.

Microsoft + Aptos this collaboration is indeed something special. If the AI lowering the barrier to entry can really be implemented, the threshold for developers will be much lower... However, is the goal of 160,000 TPS a bit optimistic? The difficulty of actually running it will still depend.
