I opened a short position at the 2993 level, which is a key resistance level I identified. If the market rebounds and breaks through, I will set a stop-loss at 2053 to control risk. If the price moves down as expected, then 2879 will be the target for taking profit.
The risk-reward ratio for the short position is quite good, with only 60 points of risk from entry to stop-loss, but the take-profit space can reach 114 points. This over 3:2 reward-to-risk ratio makes it worth trying in the current market conditions.

Bro, a profit margin of 114 points sounds pretty good, but this is the kind of rebound breakout that is most easily trapped.
This short position depends on the market temperament. Is 2993 really stuck?
The risk-reward ratio is indeed favorable, but the key is whether you can stick to the stop-loss.
Wait, there's such a big difference between 2053 and 2993, the stop-loss is a bit deep.
I'm tempted by 114 points, but I'm worried I won't be able to get out during the rebound.

ngl the risk-reward math checks out, but have you actually backtested this on historical data or are we just eyeballing resistance levels again...

ngl that 1.9:1 ratio looks clean on paper, but have you stress-tested this against liquidity fragmentation at those key levels? seen too many "optimal" entries get liquidated when actual slippage exceeds your risk assumptions...

Another short position? Bro, are you trying to bottom fish? I think you'll have to add to your position and break even sooner or later.
Today’s trading idea is recorded.
