After staying in the crypto world for a long time, you will notice a phenomenon: those who are eager to get rich are often the first to exit.

Their stories are basically the same—just entering the market and dreaming of doubling, skyrocketing, and getting rich overnight. They find the market not fast enough, the returns not high enough, and the excitement not intense enough. So they keep increasing their positions, trading more frequently, and as a result, their accounts become like leaky buckets—losing more the more they operate.

They immediately add to their gains, hold through retracements, and keep adding when they lose. The final outcome is usually the same: one morning they open the app and see only a cold, empty number left in their balance. They are not lazy; they are too greedy and impatient. Eager to recover losses quickly, eager to prove their choices are right, they end up turning trading into a battle of attrition with the market.

On the other hand, those who "seem not to make much money" have a completely different logic. They leave enough margin in each trade, go completely flat when there are no opportunities, and don’t make reckless moves out of boredom. They don’t chase the craziest market moves but only trade the segments they truly understand.

The key is: don’t fight the market, and don’t fight your own emotions.

Over time, the differences become apparent. The former’s account is like a roller coaster, ultimately ending in zero; the latter’s curve is smooth, but always trending upward. This is not a matter of luck; it’s a matter of trading philosophy.

Damn, isn't that talking about me? The part about adding more after a small profit really hits home.

That's so true. I know too many people like that around me. Those who truly last long are the ones who appear "calm and unhurried," while those shouting about 10x returns every day disappear after half a year. --- I've seen too many cases of chasing quick profits. In the end, it's always the same result—a breakdown of mindset and accounts. --- That's why I now prefer to earn less and protect the principal. Holding a cash position is also good, avoiding unnecessary trouble. --- Not fighting against your own emotions—it's truly brilliant advice. Many people fail because of this. --- It may seem like you haven't made much money, but you're still alive—that's a win. It's a huge difference compared to those whose dreams of overnight wealth shatter. --- When I open the app and see only a number left in the balance, I've seen too many stories like that, and it really hits hard. --- Position management and mindset—if you can master these two, everything else is just a matter of time. --- So now I just hold on to that little bit of understanding. No matter how tempting others are, I won't touch them. Trading that drains your energy isn't worth it at all.

Honestly, that really hit me. A few friends I know were the most aggressive when they entered, watching the market anxiously every day and trembling with every move, but within less than half a year, they all exited. On the other hand, those seemingly laid-back guys had slower account growth, but they never went to zero. The difference really lies in mindset and discipline.

That's so true. Most of my friends who constantly talk about leverage are gone.

To be honest, all those friends around me who were eager to double their investments have gone silent now. This greed problem really can't be cured; you have to pay tuition in the market to understand.

That's really impressive. I've seen too many people like this—dreams of doubling in a month, only to be wiped out in three months.
