Since entering 2025, I have learned several key lessons in digital asset trading that are worth sharing with fellow traders.

First is the warning line for leverage usage. Whether using full position or isolated margin mode, avoid the temptation of exceeding 10x leverage. Only when trading mainstream assets like BTC, ETH, SOL, which have sufficient liquidity and relatively controllable volatility, can more aggressive leverage strategies be considered. For other coins, conservative leverage settings are the key to longevity.

Second, changing the trading environment is equally important. Do not operate casually on your phone, as it is too easy to be influenced by emotions. Treat trading as a real job—sit in front of your computer, develop a clear plan, and strictly follow your strategy. Such discipline often determines the final profit performance.

The 10x leverage setup has long become boring; you still need to stay alive to make money. You can only stay calm in front of a computer; on your phone, it's just a gambler's mentality, which is so true. BTC is reliable; small altcoins are a no-go, the risk is ridiculously high. As soon as you open your phone, you want to go all-in; this is a common problem, everyone. Discipline determines life or death; this statement hit the mark. The desire to buy the dip is strong, but leverage must be controlled—lessons learned the hard way. There have been so many liquidations at 10x leverage, yet some still play; it's really time to reflect.

Better to play it safe. --- Discipline is really important. Trading without a plan is just gambling. --- Mobile trading is most easily affected by emotions, and that's true. --- Leverage over 10x?
