In Finland, cryptocurrency mining has revolutionized energy use. Excess heat from data centers is now used to heat entire cities.

The water cools the ASIC miners, heating it to 70°C, and is then fed into the city's district heating system.

By the end of 2025, these solutions will provide heat to approximately 140,000 Finns, representing approximately 2.5% of the country's population.
