The harshest reality in the crypto world is that—no one can rely on old capital forever. Experts here today may be outdated tomorrow, as technology evolves too quickly and concepts rotate even faster.

Think about it—last year’s hot directions are already ignored this year. So instead of chasing the latest trends, it’s better to develop the ability for continuous learning.

My own journey has been like this: first, master the basics and understand the fundamental principles of blockchain; then learn to analyze the market, understanding both technical and fundamental aspects; next, delve into specialized sectors, experiencing new directions like DeFi and Layer2 one by one; finally, through practical application, constantly verify and turn theory into real perception.

Every year, I set aside some money to try new projects, viewing it as tuition. Not to get rich quickly, but to understand the underlying logic of new things, so I won’t be fooled.

Speaking of risks, market fluctuations are not the scariest part. What’s truly deadly is fixed thinking—when most people are still looking at old maps, you’ve already started looking at new ones. That’s the advantage of cognitive early-mover advantage. The market is always changing, but those who run fast will always see the next opportunity first.

Final words: In this circle, the moment you stop learning is the moment you start to be eliminated. Stay curious, verify carefully, and you’ll walk more steadily.

That's true, but I think most people simply can't stick to this process... Just the idea of "putting out a sum of money as tuition" alone can discourage a large number of people.

actually the algorithmic paradigm shift you're describing here—it's precisely what separates the generative thinkers from the hash-value cargo cultists. blockchain primitives demand continuous topological recalibration, not static frameworks

Last year's divine coin is garbage this year. This really hits hard; you have to admit that if your thinking can't keep up with the market, you're out. That's right, relying solely on past experience to get by is long over. You have to keep learning. Really, every year investing some money as tuition to try new things is much more reliable than blindly going all-in. Rigid thinking is equivalent to slow suicide, and that really hurts. The ones who run fast always get the meat; if you're half a beat slow in reaction, you'll just get the broth. There's nothing you can do.

That's true, but very few people who start learning actually stick with it; most are still just thinking about getting rich overnight.

That's right, last year's divine coin has become trash this year, I've seen this happen too many times. The key is not to be blinded by this learning theory; many people have been studying for a long time and still lose money. However, it's true that chasing the latest trends is already out of fashion; you need to have your own judgment. The problem is, where do most people get the energy to learn new things every day, and they also have to spend money on trial and error. The point about cognitive rigidity hits the mark, but honestly, running fast also requires luck. Stopping learning doesn't necessarily mean being eliminated; that might be a bit absolute. Some people don't learn anything and still live very comfortably.
