Ethereum-based perpetual DEX protocol Lighter has officially launched its governance token LIT. According to the tokenomics design, the total supply is split equally—50% allocated to team members and early investors to ensure long-term development alignment, while the other 50% is reserved for ecosystem expansion. Notably, 25% of the total supply will be distributed through airdrops to early participants and community contributors, incentivizing adoption and network growth. This token structure balances stakeholder interests while prioritizing community engagement and ecosystem sustainability.

50/50 split? The team and investors each take half, sounds okay, but the real test is whether they can deliver on the 25% airdrop promise later on.

A 50/50 split sounds good, but is this 25% airdrop really enough?

50-50 split? To put it nicely, it's called balance; to be blunt, the team and investors are taking half... But a 25% airdrop is somewhat acceptable; at least the community isn't completely ignored.

50% allocated to the team and early investors, that's a pretty aggressive ratio. Can it really be balanced?

50/50 split, this ratio is really considerate. 25% airdropped to the community, but it still depends on how well the execution is carried out.

50/50 split, the team and community each get half. I've seen this trick way too many times.
