Most people observe the crypto ecosystem surface-level without grasping what actually drives it forward. Turns out, specific builders with specific mindsets working specific ways shaped everything we see today. Swap out the developers, researchers, and founders—replace real creators with grifters or copy-paste merchants—and watch how differently things unfold. The trajectory of DeFi, NFT innovations, layer-2 solutions, all of it flows through the hands and brains of the people steering them. You change the caliber of creators, you fundamentally change what gets built. That's why ecosystem quality rises or falls with talent. Not luck. Not hype cycles. The people.

That's right, it's a human problem. Look at those air projects—it's just a bunch of scammers copying and pasting randomly.

That's right, outstanding project teams are vastly different from third-rate teams.

That's true, but the real issue now is... the actual builders are busy making money, and no one wants to seriously work on the product.

ngl, this hits different when you've actually run validator infrastructure through multiple fork events. talent tier absolutely matters—watched networks tank the moment protocol teams lost their best engineers to governance drama. consensus finality doesn't fix itself, and neither does ecosystem resilience when you're stuck with mediocre operators steering the ship.

To be honest, that's why I can tell at a glance whether those new projects are genuine... Whether it's a talented team or a scammer, a glance is enough to see through.
