The company notified users on December 31, 2025, that starting from January 31, 2026, it will cease supporting the purchase and sale of USD stablecoin USDC using Argentine pesos. Coinbase stated that this move is a “strategic pause” rather than a permanent exit, with the aim of reassessing and strengthening its market strategy. During the suspension, other cryptocurrency operations (including sending and receiving) will remain normal.
